Who am I?

I am [Mortified Penguin]. You killed my father... prepare to die. Ha ha... no. I joined Elftown on 2004-04-26 under the name [Sir Soapy]. I'm currently 19-years-old and living in the United States. You may already know me from seeing me helping out around ET on random wikis or you may have seen me at my bizarrely successful and increasingly popular wiki, Bob's Diner.

How have I contributed?

During my first few years on Elftown, I didn't really do much. It wasn't until the last couple of years that I finally started entering some contests. I even managed to win all three poetry competitions I entered (Halloween poetry competition! in 2009, Magic Written Contest for Veterans in 2008, and ECM's Vampire Poetry in 2007).

I've reported members in the past and tried talking to others to help keep them from breaking the rules. On official wikis, I've helped keep them chat free, by redirecting the traffic to Bob's Diner. I've also reported several bugs and potentially detrimental problems (eventually).

I briefly served Elftown as one of the guides. Taking over for [Imperator], I helped others wherever I could. Since I watch over 1,000 wikis and a lot of different forums, I was able to help out in a wide variety of different ways. Being a patron of nearly six years, I know pretty much everything there is to know about Elftown... which is a good thing when you're a guide.

My most important contribution so far is keeping [Sunrose] from destroying Elftown. She's a major problem, but thanks to me, she hasn't caused too much damage.

Currently, I'm running Chess Tournament and a few other wikis I've taken over for people who don't come to Elftown anymore. Then there's some of my (and [Sagacious Turkey]'s) other projects, such as Bob's Diner, Maze of Guile, Some Unfinished Comics, Mort says Stuff, and even the shameful, seldom heard of The Best of Bob: Volume 1. Some of those can't really be considered as 'contributions' though...

What will I do?

I'll do whatever is required of me to the best of my abilities. I know a lot of wikis are old and desperately need updating, so hopefully I'll be able to help out there. I'm sure there are a lot of other things I could do to help out as well... Updating mainstreet, helping keep order on official wikis, whatever there is that needs to be done. I have an extensive knowledge of the rules of Elftown as well as how it works. I know how to answer pretty much any question a new member might have.

I would like to be a guard as well as a council member, but I'd be happy to get anything. Whatever position needs to be filled, I'll help out and fill it.
